If he does not fold, then you will win the hand only if a heart or a ten comes. This can be a very efficient way for someone who does not know much about bluffing.

For example, you have been flat calling a flop of Kh 3s Td and a good turn of 6c, and then get in when the 6s comes to the river the opponents that has got very strong hands will not believe that you have them beat. You are standing for the trip sixes, suggesting that you called pre flop and turns the bets with the hand that was at the back. If running the flush cards that come on turn of the river and you bet saying that you are standing for the flush, then you have to be very convincing.
