Full Tilt Poker contacting players via email

Several players with significant balances on Full Tilt Poker were recently contacted by the company’s support team via emails. The email players received said:

“As you are aware, Full Tilt Poker is preparing to re-launch by May 6th, 2025.

Action Required: You will need to verify your identity to access your account.*

In the interest of account security and in accordance with the anticipated Isle of Man regulatory requirements, you are required to verify your identity.

Providing valid documentation now will ensure that your account is fully verified and active upon re-launch. Once relaunch and system testing has completed, you will have unrestricted access to your Full Tilt Poker account, including all cashier functionality and poker games.

Please reply to this email, attaching the following documents.”

In other words, players are required to provide new Full Tilt Poker with updated information such as address or ID information. The discussion has been going on in the poker forums and several players have already confirmed that they have received this email.

While it might seem rather strange that such a step is being taken, it can only be perceived as good news: things are slowly moving forward and the relaunch date will most likely be met.
