This is the first part of the guide to going deep in large multi-table tournaments.

Huge tournaments that have a lot of players will result in big payouts-most likely over 1000 times the actual size of the buy-in.

This is enough reason to spend most of your time polishing up your MTTs plan.

Select your aim

Maybe you have never thought about this at all and you think that every person's aim in a tournament is to be the winner in first place.

A lot of players are not playing for the first place as you think; they are only playing to get cash.

For most of the players, ending anywhere in the cash is regarded a win. Such players are the ones who like the big first-place trophy, but then they are glad not to lose their buy-in.

For such players, you can only win by getting cash. If you get yourself cash, you are a winner, but if you do not get yourself money, you are a loser.

A lot of players normally play for cash.

In distinction, the players who are playing so as to win first place, are at a high risk of getting out even before the cash in return for a good chance to creating quite a big run.

First, choose what your aim is.

Do not just choose a goal simply because it sounds good, you have to be careful in making the right choice-the choice that is true to your needs and the one that you can follow.

Most of the players who play for cash think that they have both the chance of winning and the chance of getting cash frequently.

Even though such players make cash more often, they are just the same as the players in cash-game who get winning streaks.

If you are limping into the cash, at the tournament chip average or even less, you must become a very serious card rack sp as to make deep.

The difference is that they take the state where they are supposed to get the in flip or where they need to get luck, and ensure that they take place at appropriate times.

In a state where you have a hand that has 60% probability to win, would you get it all-in against a player who has got a third of your stack or a player who has got you protected?

In a situation like this, the part time players will go for the one third since if they lose they will have some chips top play with.

The problem comes when you make such a choice. Choices such as this will make you get into certain circumstances that will put you in a high risk of getting back to where you wee initially.

An expert is playing so as he may win and he would rather take the very same risks for the big pots which will ensure that the player struggles to go deep into the field.

Think about your ROI

You should also think about your ROI. If you happen to be playing in tournaments which give about 1000 times your number of buy-in, then you can make the strong moves in order to get into a deep finish.
